1. General Terms
By booking a trip with YatraTrail, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all treks, expeditions, camping trips, mountaineering, and adventure activities organized by YatraTrail.
2. Booking & Payment Policy
A non-refundable advance payment of 30-50% of the total trip cost is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before departure.
Last-minute bookings (within 7 days of departure) require 100% upfront payment.
Payment can be made via bank transfer, UPI, credit/debit card, or cash.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation by the Participant:
More than 30 days before departure: 90% refund.
15-30 days before departure: 50% refund.
Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.
No refunds for no-shows or leaving the trek early due to personal reasons.
Cancellation by YatraTrail:
In case of cancellations due to weather conditions, natural disasters, or government restrictions, participants will receive a partial refund or an option to reschedule.
If YatraTrail cancels due to operational issues, a full refund will be provided.
4. Health & Fitness Requirements
Participants must disclose any medical conditions (asthma, heart disease, high blood pressure, etc.) at the time of booking.
YatraTrail reserves the right to decline participation if a participant is deemed medically unfit.
Participants must be physically prepared for treks and expeditions. Failure to meet fitness requirements may result in trip cancellation without a refund.
5. Travel Insurance
YatraTrail strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance that covers accidents, medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellations, and baggage loss.
YatraTrail is not responsible for any financial losses due to medical emergencies or trip interruptions.
6. Risks & Liabilities
Adventure travel involves risks including but not limited to altitude sickness, injuries, weather changes, and wildlife encounters.
YatraTrail and its staff are not liable for injuries, damages, or losses during the trip.
Participants must follow trek leader instructions and safety guidelines at all times.
7. Conduct & Behavior
Respect fellow travelers, locals, and nature at all times.
Consumption of alcohol, drugs, or any illegal substances during treks/expeditions is strictly prohibited.
Littering, vandalism, or harming the environment will lead to immediate removal from the trip without refund.
Any misbehavior, harassment, or violence will result in legal action and expulsion from the group.
8. Equipment & Gear
YatraTrail provides essential trekking and camping equipment. Any loss or damage caused by participants will be charged.
Participants must carry their own clothing, footwear, personal gear, and medications as per the itinerary.
9. Photography & Media Release
YatraTrail reserves the right to capture photos and videos during the trip.
Participants grant permission for the use of their images for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes.
If any participant does not wish to be photographed, they must inform the trek leader in advance.
10. Itinerary Changes & Delays
YatraTrail reserves the right to modify itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, roadblocks, government restrictions, etc.).
Delays due to weather, road closures, or transport issues are beyond YatraTrail’s control. No refunds will be issued for such delays.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Himachal Pradesh courts.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By booking with YatraTrail, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
